Lauren Adams, CFA®, CFP®, is a Partner and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional at Center for Financial Planning, Inc.®
As a CFP® professional, Lauren works with clients and their families to meet their financial planning goals. As a CFA® charterholder and former Senior Stock Analyst, Lauren specializes in investments and serves on The Center Investment Committee.
Lauren also leads The Center’s back-office activities and works closely with the Client Service, Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing Departments.
Lauren has been in the investment field since 2008 and joined The Center in 2016. Before joining The Center, Lauren worked at Morningstar as a Senior Equity Analyst. During that time, media sources like the Financial Times, Fortune, SmartMoney, and Forbes frequently turned to her as a trusted source of information.
After several years in Chicago, Lauren and her husband, Chris, spent a year traveling to more than 50 countries before returning to her home state of Michigan. They live in Bloomfield Township with their children.
Lauren was named to the 2023 InvestmentNews “40 under 40” list¹³. She is the President for CFA Society of Detroit, a graduate of the Small Giants Leadership Academy, and Treasurer of the Kirk in the Hills Preschool Board.
